I'd like to propose we remove that. If it was being used as recently as 1996, that's only 17 years old. We don't even HAVE dated references for the other usages. Etym (talk) 06:05, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

Equinox has changed it to 'chiefly dated', which seems about right for the UK. It seems downright obsolete (archaic?) in the US, though. Perhaps {{chiefly|dated|_|in the UK|archaic|_|in the US}}? - -sche (discuss) 17:15, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
