Talk:smashpot

Google doesn't seem to support this usage (though there seems to be a D&D(?) usage for the taking). I overheard it at my local coffee shop, sounding for all the world like a legitimate term of shoptalk. If someone else has also overheard it elsewhere, it's certainly legit. Otherwise, it might make a good protologism. -dmh 18:04, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)

"A pot into which baristas eject used espresso grounds with a vigorous smashing motion." See Talk:smashpot from 2004, and note that Google still has nothing on this most of a decade later. Equinox 21:36, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
