I'm not sure what to do with the "plural only" section, should it be moved to string attached as sense 2? DonnanZ (talk) 10:46, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Donnanz I would do this and add a label 'chiefly in the plural' to the singular, and move the usage note about "no strings attached" to the singular. In general it's fine to have a plural-only entry for a term that also exists in the singular, but only when the singular and plural-only terms have different meanings. Here there doesn't seem to be a difference in meaning. Benwing2 (talk) 03:26, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
