"The governor ordered a state of emergency because Texas is a tinderbox" (i.e. they've had a drought and it's very dry and flammable.) is this a different sense? JillianE 18:49, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I've tracked down the previous discussion... the question was apparently whether it should be one word (as it is now) or two: [[tinder box]]. That's a RFM question, though, and [[tinderbox]] is attested, so yes, I'm removing the tag. - -sche (discuss) 05:27, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
