I've provided cites of tosie below in the section #tosy; apparently the entry needs to be moved (and the definition needs to be changed...) - -sche (discuss) 07:36, 4 January 2024 (UTC)

OK, I've removed "soft, like wool that has been teased" and replaced it with "intoxicated" (which some references seem to take to be etymologically the same word, while others think this can hardly be the case), which has three cites. - -sche (discuss) 07:13, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
