Usage as a verb

The quotation I found is:

The comma is definitely an error. It says "as they uncut the girls", meaning released them from being tied up. This is obvious if you read the surrounding text. I don't think this usage is normal, and it might just be in the one book. Try to find 3 cites before suggesting an addition, because there is so much junk out there. The 2015 quote is plainly adjectival .... the 2013 quote is a verb, but looking at context it means "make not cut (up)" and is probably confined to mathematics. Uncut in the sense of "let loose, untether" and in the mathematical sense need to be treated separately, .... three cites for the combination of the two meanings doesn't cut it. —Soap— 07:38, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
