It seems that almost everyone is misunderstanding the word véase, so I will try to explain. véase is not an imperative, and its subject is not usted. véase is a Spanish form called a passive reflexive (pasiva refleja), which is constructed with a subjunctive and the reflexive pronoun se. The term véase página 8 does NOT literally mean "see yourself page 8"... it means "let page 8 be seen". And página 8 is not the direct object, it is the subject of the verb. That’s why páginas 8 y 9 requires the plural véanse, which means literally "let pages 8 and 9 be seen". —Stephen (Talk) 03:29, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
