I'd dispute this. A vicious circle or spiral implies progression because of its shape: circle or spiral. The "vicious" part is not where the progression concept comes from. Equinox 09:39, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Possible missing positive sense in slang[edit]

Thorne's Slang Dictionary also defines it positively as "impressive, powerful, exciting: a teenage term of approval, admiration or satisfaction on the lines of the more widespread bad and wicked". Equinox 09:38, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
