Fruit peel[edit]

There is another sense relating to the peel of citrus fruit. This seems to be sometimes also used as a verb. — Hippietrail 03:49, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)

French[edit]

In French, to eat with zest would be manger avec grand appetit, but only when applied to eating. I'm not sure if or how I should add it though.

Etymology[edit]

This page says that zest comes from French zeste and then Greek zestos. However the page for French zeste says it comes from Greek schizos, which makes a lot more sense etymologically. Jaysbro (talk) 13:30, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
