Usage

To use this template,

1. Add {{rfm|en|short reason here}} ("en" for English, replace with the appropriate language code) to the page source as appropriate.
2. Start the discussion on to Wiktionary:Requests for moves, mergers and splits by clicking the (+) link.

The title of the move, merger or split discussion should be left as the wikified, blue linked page name, which is automatically provided for you. The output is as follows:

Parameters

|1= (required)

The language code of the term needing cleanup. See Wiktionary:List of languages. Use und if a single language doesn't apply, e.g. in templates, categories and appendices.

|2=

An optional comment to be displayed in the request message.

|fragment=, |section=

The section of Wiktionary:Requests for moves, mergers and splits that will be linked to. By default, this is the page name.

|sort=

The sort key for the page; rarely needs to be specified.

|nocat=1

Disable categorization of this page.

This template adds the page to the subcategory of Category:Requests for attention by language corresponding to the language specified by |1=, as well as to Category:Requests for moves, mergers and splits.
