Deletion debate (2)

[edit]

The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process.

It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

Not a context. Or at least not used as a context right now. It's just a lazy way of categorizing things, that fact the green is a color should be in the definition, not in the context label. Mglovesfun (talk) 10:38, 18 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Keep this template (and all sense level templates that are in use). Categories are specific to headword or, at best, headword-L2, not to individual senses. Such templates can help us identify individual lines to accelerate definition-type-specific automated cleanup. DCDuring TALK 00:58, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Delete This is not a restricted-use label. If there is a problem with the way we apply categories, why not propose a better way to apply categories? Michael Z. 2010-03-24 04:45 z

Fails. DCDuring, since we will obviously orphan the template before deleting it, that allows us to clean up the entries in the process. Mglovesfun (talk) 21:00, 11 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
