hyphenate

[edit]

Hi. We don't include those big conjugation tables for English entries. It was discussed recently. Equinox 15:40, 1 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Equinox I've added to help people what are they learning English know how the English verbs are conjugated. Thanks. Rodney Araujo (talk) 15:44, 1 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

"cyberbullyings"

[edit]

This is not countable. Can you find citations meeting our WT:CFI rules, for the plural "cyberbullyings"? I bet you can't, because I looked and checked. Equinox 09:07, 30 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Spanish /ɕ/

[edit]

Can you provide any evidence that Spanish uses /ɕ/ and /ʑ/ rather than /ʃ/ and /ʒ/? I plan on reverting your edit, but I thought I would let you know first so we don't start an edit war. Ultimateria (talk) 18:34, 21 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I am also expecting an explanation on your revert. What are your sources of Spanish using that phoneme? --Bankster (talk) 01:14, 22 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

please stop reverting Module:es-pronunc

[edit]

Hi. Please stop reverting Module:es-pronunc and please read the section in Wikipedia on w:Spanish phonology#Obstruents, which specifically describes Spanish pronunciation of sounds like p, t, k before another stop sound, and justifies writing e.g. optimista as /obtiˈmista/ [oβtiˈmista] invalid IPA characters (//[]), *NOT* as /optiˈmista/. If you continue reverting, I will lock the page. Benwing2 (talk) 02:17, 20 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Japanese テーマ

[edit]

Hello, this is consistently sourced from German in Japanese references. It first appears in a text from 1910 when many German works were being translated. It is not from Spanish tema. I have since fixed the Japanese テーマ (tēma) page.

Please confirm your etymologies in reference works. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 19:24, 28 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
