- Just to be clear, that's Hanyu pinyin, which is the official standard just about everywhere, not Tongyong pinyin. I can understand why you might want to make a political statement, but that violates a basic wiki principle, which is to maintain a neutral point of view. What's more, our templates are designed around Hanyu pinyin, so changing the romanization can mess up a number of things. Please see WT:AZH for more details. I'm not sure what you're doing; 山脈 is not the simplified form of 山脈, and 甚麼 is not the simplified form of 什麼. —suzukaze (t・c) 01:10, 4 January 2016 (UTC)

- Per this older discussion, it seems to be valid, if exceedingly rare and highly unusual.
