speedrun

[edit]

No need to pretend "conjugation may differ greatly". It's just the everyday word run with speed stuck on it. Equinox 03:05, 23 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

C'mon man I just wanted to add a niche conjugation. Yeah maybe the "conjugation may differ greatly" part was a bit excessive, but at least keep the conjugation part.
What's the point? We could put the same thing on run. It wouldn't help anyone. Unless you are saying there is a significant use of unexpected forms like speedrunned (which...might be half-believable)...? Equinox 10:06, 23 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
It's not just that. While this isn't the most scientific basis, 'most' times when you see someone use the simple past conjugation of the verb, they won't say speedran, it'll be spedran. What's more interesting is that the past participle will be spedrun, not spedran. It seems that when conjugating the verb one usually merges the respective conjugations for speed and run. I think it's pretty neat and is worth something. I will admit though that this is not universal but that's all the more reason to add it. BlastKast (talk) 18:25, 23 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
