Hi, please look at dog which includes quotes within each definition with synonyms follow and portmanteau which you have done with quotations behind bullets. They both seem good. Which is better? Fred Bauder 16:58 Dec 13, 2002 (UTC)

Hello, I merely improved the numbering and bulleting in portmanteau. The original idea was not mine (see older versions). I have a slight preference for quotations behind bullets because it looks a little more orderly. D.D. 17:23 Dec 13, 2002 (UTC)

Hello. Thanks for the hint for the spaces and colons. Perhaps should I read the style guide for spaces and ,' ; ? !. Sorry for the annoyance. -- youssef

Hi. Nice to have you here. It's nice that there's someone around doing new additions that one can just trail and add the translation. I've added some words and writing the definition is a challenge in many cases. Keep up the good work. --Juho 22:32 Feb 24, 2003 (UTC)

Hey Dhum Dhum, thanks for your message on my talk page. please take at a look at http://wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktionary:Wiktionary_language_considerations, for my ideas regarding dictionaries. What do you think about it? --Nicolas 10:39 Mar 3, 2003 (UTC)

Yep I am ready to start the example. I agree with your proposal for the location of the example (Wiktionary Project:Interlanguage linking), and also to have Dutch, French and English as the featured languages for the example. I am gonna give some thoughts tonight (i.e. in a few hours). Thanks for your support :-) --Nicolas 22:38 Mar 5, 2003 (UTC). sorry did not have time to do anything today. maybe tomorrow. Nicolas 08:47 Mar 6, 2003 (UTC) Yep I agree with the broad choice of words. Ok then, if I have time before the week-end, I can start, otherwise we'll see next week. Thx --Nicolas 16:26 Mar 6, 2003 (UTC)

Ok, added Dutch to the Swadesh list. If you were asking where to put the Dutch specifically, I hope you don't mind the position. If you were asking how to add columns to tables in general, just add an additional "" for the headers at the top or "" to each row. Put the words in the middle and then after the words put a "" or " but with a "/" before th and td. - Brettz9 22:21 Mar 10, 2003 (UTC)

Hey Dhum Dhum, I am back for the example. In order to discuss furthermore, I laid out my ideas and questions on User_talk:Dhum_Dhum/ILTests. --Nicolas 22:54 Mar 13, 2003 (UTC). -- Hey DhumDhum, just a few words to say that I am still there, not involved with Wikipedia contributions at all these days, it's been a while since I made any. I guess when it'll be less busy with my work, I will have some free time. I also took some time to set up a local version of Wikipedia to take a look at the software itself, and see the possibilities of changes required for a "new" layout. Thanks for fixing the French numbers. My French knowledge seems to have gotten covered with a layer of dust. Of course, that's why it is interesting to have these numbers in the dictionary. Now I'm going to add five hundred. Spanish does something weird with that one.
