We do not add pronunciations to Translingual names of taxa, in part because they have a different pronunciation in each culture and country. Also, in future, please do not remove content from pages without a lexical reason. --EncycloPetey 16:02, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not too sure about your changes. Sure, there are different reasons for which a thing might be writable (e.g. physical access versus software permissions), but the word still just means "capable of being written to". I like it. I see your point about different reasons, but still the basic definition is that something is capable of being written to.
