Ok 2 things:

1. While AGF IS kinda in force here, this is not the same as WP. Sure you're edit (from what I'm reading) seems to have been in good faith, but we do not use redirects here A LOT for mainspace stuff like this.
2. As WT:CFI says, our aim is to include all words in all languages. Alt. spellings merit inclusion just as much as the next word when they can be attested/verified. Another important thing linked in with this is that you could have a case where an alt sp. of an English word is also a word in another language. In that case, a redirect would be a very bad idea. No, rather in the interest of inclusion of all words it would be likely labeled as impraticable or impractical. 50 Xylophone Players talk 19:36, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

Who uses badmouth in which contexts, when was it first attested? these questions can be answered on a per-spelling basis (and this is what Wiktionary has decided to do). I tend to be on your side, in that it's just an extra unnecessary, but it's unlikely to sway the community consensus. If it were, the page I was redirecting to would also be that word. - Okay, i see what you mean about that but still which a lot of languages out there (even many Wiktionary likely does not cover yet) you just never really know do you? I was referring to the explanation you gave. You said you can't have redirects because they might be a word in another language. This is just the same word, hyphenated and non-hyphenated. Enigmaman 16:19, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
