Hi there. Could you please only include a link to Wikipedia where such an article actually exists - it confuses our users. Here is our standrad welcome. SemperBlotto 17:52, 1 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wiktionary. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the beer parlour or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!

Thanks for helping the new kid.

I feel very welcome! I guess I thought I would get more entries done all at once. Sorry for creating dead links. I'll fix that ASAP. More articles to come. Thanks again for the welcome.

A tip for noun entries

[edit]

We're trying to encourage the use of templates which make it possible to easily control the consistency of entries. For example, for the headword for single-minded branding moment, see how I've changed that to a template that reads . Note that this automatically creates a plural for the entry; if the plural was something other than the original term, the plural would be written in a separate section (as with ). Cheers! bd2412 T 21:39, 29 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
