I'm intrigued. What do you intend to do with this? Do you need any help? --Fsojic (talk) 18:28, 28 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Fsojic: Well, a focus of mine at the moment is trying to find and attest the Ancient Greek words for its own diacritics (viz. ⟨ ` ⟩, ⟨  ⟩, ⟨ ¨ ⟩, ⟨  ⟩, ⟨ ´ ⟩, ⟨  ⟩, ⟨ ᾿ ⟩). Ὀξεῖᾰ: ⟨  ⟩ is the best attested so far, in terms of actual quotations added with translations (Plato and Dionysius Thrax); the only English translation of that quoted work by Sextus Empiricus that I've found so far is R.G. Bury's translation in Sextus Empiricus IV: Against Professors (Loeb Classical Library 382, 1989), to which I have no access, either via libraries or a pirated PDF (and I don't really fancy forking out £~15 for my own copy). Accordingly, I have little option but to translate the Greek myself. I'd be a lot more confident if the passage to be translated were Latin; my Greek is much poorer. If you'd be happy to translate any bits of Greek for which I can't source translations, I would be very grateful (but no pressure, I'm willing to try myself). — I.S.M.E.T.A. 20:34, 28 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
