• Entry layout (EL) is a detailed policy on Wiktionary's page formatting; all entries must conform to it. The easiest way to start off is to copy the contents of an existing same-language entry, and then adapt it to fit the entry you are creating.
• Check out Language considerations to find out more about how to edit for a particular language.
• Our Criteria for Inclusion (CFI) defines exactly which words can be added to Wiktionary; the most important part is that Wiktionary only accepts words that have been in somewhat widespread use over the course of at least a year, and citations that demonstrate usage can be asked for when there is doubt.
• If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide for Wikipedia users useful.
• If you have any questions, bring them to Wiktionary:Information desk or ask me on my talk page.
• Whenever commenting on any discussion page, please sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~) which automatically produces your username and timestamp.

Entry layout, translation boxes, alternative forms, and Jeju

Hi @Nkrftw017, welcome to Wiktionary! A few things that I'd review before continuing to edit:

• When creating a references section, you have to make sure that it's a sub-level header, ex: using "=== ===" instead of "== ==", as shown at WT:Entry layout. This stops you from accidentally creating another "language" at "lunch".
• In translation boxes & alternative form listings for dialectal/regional terms, we list by word not by region. So for example, at 점심 (jeomsim), instead of listing every region and having a ton of repetition, you can instead list each word; ex: "점슴 (jeomseum) (Gangwon, Gyeongi)". It's much cleaner and less of an eyesore.
• Jeju, on Wiktionary, is treated as its own language, and its terms should not be listed as alternative forms for Korean (unless it's the rare instance of a term existing only in Jeju-tinged Korean and not in Jeju). Jeju terms should only be listed as cognates in the etymology section similar to 가을 (ga'eul).
• For links to other entries, please try to use {{l}} or {{m}} rather than doing a bare link.
