Word of the Day
[edit]Hi, it was noted that you set the date of the WOTD for hogshead. While the administrator, User:Sgconlaw, doesn't mind this, it would be preferred that older nominations were set first, rather than fairly recent nominations. This would be fairer to those whose nominations have been in the queue for a long time, the oldest ones have been there for 13 months. DonnanZ (talk) 11:10, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, Piparsveinn, please feel free to contact me here on your talk page (by tagging me with

The guide recommended promoting a past nomination when you make your own, but I missed the principle that it should be an older nomination. I'll keep this in mind in the future. Thanks. - To use a good antipodean phrase, no worries. DonnanZ (talk) 15:25, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
