      The arms of Lady Hood were recorded in 1815, and are thus described in the Lyon Register: "[...] Two shields accolee that on the dexter Azure a Fret Argent, on a Chief or three Crescents Sable, over all the Badge of a Baronet of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, in Surtout the Arms of Mackenzie of Seaforth.
