[edit]From Modern Latin [Term?]. If so, from the hypothetical Ancient Greek *ἀμαζία (*amazía), ultimately from ἀ- (a-) + μαζός (mazós) + -ῐ́ᾱ (-íā).

- The absence of one or both of the mammary glands, with the nipple and areola present.

[edit]- Not to be confused with amastia, the complete absence of breast tissue, nipple, and areola.
