English[edit]

Etymology[edit]

From international scientific vocabulary, from New Latin, parallel with the a- + stereo- + gnosis of the more established synonym (astereognosis) and clearly influenced by the naturally apparent (to biomedically informed speakers) surface analysis of agnosia (which is cognitively adjacent, hypernymously).

Noun[edit]

astereognosia (uncountable)

  1. Synonym of astereognosis (which is the more common synonym)
