autoclitic ‎(plural autoclitics)

  1. A verbal behavior that has an organizing function; for example, grammatical and rhetorical sequences can be selected by the speaker so as to achieve a particular goal. This occurs because listeners are strongly affected by the composition of the discourse they are exposed to.
