      This is how the great war of 1864 – 1870 happened, which three nations waged against us, almost all men of Paraguay were killed in this war. Foreigners took possession of our country, of our land, and as serfs we lived after that. It was forbidden that we use Guarani and those who did not speak in Spanish were beaten.
