    beerhood (plural beerhoods)

    1. (rare, humorous) A group of people who drink beer together; a beer club.
      • 1868, Elihu Burritt, A Walk From London to Land's End and Back, With Notes by the Way, second edition, London: Sampson Low, Son and Marston, page 75:
        He went to church, and came back with the determination to abstain for a whole month from all intoxicating drinks. All his old beerhood fraternity warned him against such a resolution.
