Etymology[edit]
beta + bux, the second component being a leetspeak-influenced respelling of bucks (“money”), from the incel phrase alpha fucks, beta bucks.

- (incel slang, derogatory) A beta male who acts as a provider for a woman who has decided to finally settle down.
