Etymology

The origin is uncertain. Could be from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Catalan brisa, influenced by rezze. Alternatively, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Lua error in Module:parameters at line 95: Parameter 1 should be a valid language code; the value "VL." is not valid. See WT:LOL. *brevidia, derived from a word which gave rise to Italian breva.
