[edit]cu'
- contraction of cui
- Cu cu' sta' parrannu?.
- Who are you talking to?
- Cu' ci u dissi?.
- Who told him/her??
Usage notes
[edit]The apocopic form cu' is rather prevalent in usage, because it is more often followed by a stressed syllable, so as to create a more fluent speaking, in the same manner as for: dui/du', cchiui/cchiù, poi/po', assai/assa', sii/si'.
