1. to pour; to spill; to empty out (to cause liquid or loose substance to flow in a steady stream).

• In formal or written Malay, the active affixed forms mencurah (intransitive: to pour down heavily, like rain) and mencurahkan (transitive: to pour something out) are much more commonly used than the bare root word.
