English[edit]

Noun[edit]

curuba (plural curubas)

  1. Synonym of cassabanana

Spanish[edit]

Etymology[edit]

From curubo (passionflower vines), of unclear origin, but as the plant is native to the Andes region (Peru, Bolivia, etc), a borrowing from an Amerindian language is likely.[1]
