From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ancient Greek διανοητικός (dianoētikós, pertaining to thinking), from διανοητός (dianoētós), verbal adjective of διανοέεσθαι (dianoéesthai, to think), from δια- (dia-, through) + νοέειν (noéein, to think, suppose).
