[edit]dodcadach (“unfortunate”) + -e; the former from dodcad (“bad luck”) + -ach; the former from do- + tocad (“luck, fortune”), from Proto-Celtic *tonketos (compare Welsh tynged), from Proto-Indo-European *tenk-.
