From Proto-Albanian *drē̆δ-, from Proto-Indo-European *dʰreǵʰ-. Cognate to Old Armenian դառնամ (daṙnam, to turn, revolve),[1] Gothic dragan (dragan, to draw, accumulate, take on), English drag.
