flex up (third-person singular simple present flexes up, present participle flexing up, simple past and past participle flexed up)

  1. (transitive) To increase a worker's work hours during on-call availability periods, as opposed to scheduled shifts.
  2. (intransitive, slang, African-American Vernacular) To look good; to be dressed up so as to express one's wealth; to be blinged out; to look hard.
