  1. An intermediary or middleman.
    She's the go-between for engineering and manufacturing, so you'll have to ask her if you need to coordinate between the groups.
  2. (shogi) A shogi piece, used in chu shogi and larger shogi variants, that can move one step straight forward or straight backwards.
