- (slang, rhetorical) Idiomatic saying expressing disapproval and scorn at someone else's apparent pipe dream or overly vivid imagination. Slang phrase among adolescents from Oslo and nearby districts in the 1970s. Now less common. Literally translates to: "Have you been smoking your socks?"
