From Russian холостяки́ (xolostjakí, bachelors), plural of холостя́к (xolostják, bachelor).

holluschickie (plural holluschickies)

  1. A bachelor seal; a young male seal which is prevented from mating by its herd's older males, mated bulls defending their territory.
