From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Albanian *lag- with -je suffix, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Indo-European *legh- (to lay, lie (down)). Cognate to Ancient Greek λόχος (lókhos, ambush, ambuscade, armed band). Plural form of lag.
