From lamenti, an alteration of (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Spanish manatí, a (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Lua error in Module:parameters at line 229: Parameter 1 should be a valid language code; the value "sai-car" is not valid. See WT:LOL. word, by association with lamenter "lament, bewail", because of the animal's cry.
