microscalpel (plural microscalpels)
- A tool used to cut or remove parts of an individual cell.
- 1997, Methods in Muscle Biology, page 16:
- Each incision can be aided by first "scoring" the ectoderm repeatedly (3-10 times) by dragging the cutting tip of the microscalpel along the surface (Fig. 2B).
