[edit]From Proto-Albanian *namā,[1] from Proto-Indo-European *nem- (“to apportion, sacrifice”) (compare German nehmen (“to take”), Ancient Greek νέμω (némō, “to distribute”), νέμεσις (némesis, “wrath”)).
