narangi (plural narangis)

  1. (India) A variety of orange (fruit).
    • 1989, Mohammad Azhar Ansari, Geographical Glimpses of Medieval India, volume 3:
      It has a fruit called Sontara that resembles narangi but with better colour and sweeter.
