pardner ‎(plural pardners)

  1. A friend or companion. (Used primarily in direct address to the same.)
  2. A partner.
  3. A local community banking co-op, often set up as an initiative for a social group unable to get formal credit or bank accounts, notably West Indians in Britain.

Usage notes[edit]

American dialectal and informal in usage, especially in the speech of the American West.
