- to threaten [with dative]
- nakonec jsme jí museli pohrozit policií. ― In the end, I'm afraid we had to threaten her with the police.
- tak jste jemu a jeho ženě pohrozil, aby byli zticha. ― So you threatened him and his wife to make him shut up.
