polyclinic (plural polyclinics)
- A clinic in which diseases of many sorts are treated; especially, an institution in which clinical instruction is given in all kinds of disease.
Usage notes
Not to be confused with policlinic, a very rare term (pronounced the same way) not found in most UK dictionaries and only rarely used by US medical professionals for the outpatient clinic or outpatient department of a European hospital.
