Albanian

Etymology

From *pron-, suppletive verb, occurring in aorist and (its) participle as well as in the tempora and modi built on those stems. From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Albanian *p(e)rē-(n-), from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Indo-European *per- (to bear, lead across). Cognate to Ancient Greek περάω (peráō, to penetrate, pierce).[1]
