English

Noun

quantum suicide (uncountable)

  1. A thought experiment in which it is proposed that it is impossible to commit suicide, as at each attempt the universe will split into two, in one of which the person will still be alive.
Although quantum suicide is a well-reasoned argument, the multi-universe premise on which it stands is more controversial.
