Etymology[edit]

Named in 2011 by Anthony R. Kampf, Stuart J. Mills, R. M. Housley, Robert S. Bottrill and Uwe Kolitsch in honour of Robert E. Reynolds (born 1943), former Curator of Earth Sciences at the San Bernardino County Museum.
